Location: Faith Communities and Union, Carmen Dorado Cotoca and New Creation, the Municipality of S. Andres in the Province of Marban - Beni Department

Justification: In the area there are no public agricultural productive services or private assistance for marketing, credit, etc.; Also requires the strengthening of community organization and increasing participation and autonomous decision-making from a population which has been working years by the local partner. This project is demand from beneficiaries themselves as a logical consequence of the work and previous projects that had been supporting. It is the attempt to overcome external dependencies and improve the organization and management of the peasantry itself
Objectives: To promote the integral development and improve living conditions of some families in the three communities by organizing small farmers Association
1. Creating Partnership for productive agricultural activities
2. Development of a model farm as a center for administrative management, training, production and agricultural research
3. Empowerment of the marketing of agricultural products of the Association and its partners
Target population: Direct a total of 251 persons, of whom 140 women and 111 men. Indirect 135 families of the three communities
Project duration: Three years, beginning in April 2008 completed April 2011
Budget and funding: 103,294.89 € First year (involving the Government of Navarra and Ay. Bergara)
Adoption of legal framework, election of board of directors and bank account opening for the Association
Recruitment of charge-project coordinator, accountant and agronomist

Training for horticultural production, basic grain and sugarcane, post-harvest and agro chemicals

Use truck 4 T. transportation and sale of production in urban and rural markets
